The theme of the day is "Bittersweet with a twist of smiles." I got word that I didn't get the first audition but that's okay. Its about trying your hardest, knowing every time you give 100%, and are confident in yourself. If you think, believe, and live positively, good things will circle you.
As my agent Carol and her assistant Cindy told me the news they both stopped and flashed a huge, unexpected, smile.
They went on to tell me the client went out of their way to give praise to my audition and performance. Completely nontraditional in the business!!
Standard practice is very scripted and the client usually remains anonymous when selections are relayed from the production studios back to the agency.
The final verdict of this audition:
Production Studio said "YES" to hire me, I was their first choice.
The Client said "NO" to hire me, I was their second choice.
You have to be happy with the Silver medal every now and then... :o)
