A "table read" is one of the last forms of proof reading for a writer... it allows him/her to hear and see the script in ways he/she didn't originally intend. Its the last chance a writer has to make final corrections before the script is sent to a production company. This script for instance, already sold for over a million bucks! There are some pretty big names considering it too, I'll keep you all posted on who ends up playing the role. This evening was a great opportunity to network with other producers, directors, and talent in town.
