Final preparations are being made, minor tweaks to my monologue are being solidified, stockings are hung by the chimney with care... did I miss anything?

CHICAGO audition is right around the corner and I'm getting excited! Nervousness comes hand in hand with the excitement, but this is my time to shine. RIGHT NOW!

Below is a basic agenda to give you the inside scoop on what will be happening... time to take it to the next level! I'll keep you posted on my experience on Saturday and Sunday night - until then, I'll continue sharpening my monologue and ensure all the other details are in place. Hang on, its gonna get loud!!!

Day 1

Day 1 is an agent prep day working with the agents. This first day is informative and confidence building – everything is arranged for me in advance. I’ll receive a schedule once I arrive. They suggest a pen and paper to take notes and my clothing can be completely casual.

Since I'll be interested in acting, I will perform my acting monologue. I must demonstrate a reasonable minimum of audition ability on Day 1 before advancing to acting agents during Day 2.

Day 2

Day 2 is a day where all agents see me one-by-one. My agent reviews are pre-arranged and will consist of :

- Stage & runway reviews,
- Close-up reviews where you bring your two chosen photos or snapshots,
- Monologue performances.

After I meet all agents, the organizers (they call themselves Scouts) announces and posts all agent callback interview lists. The recommended attire for Day 2 is to just wear something simple that captivates me in my best natural look.
